Authorized Nurse Visits

Staying healthy at home is easier when a nurse is part of the plan.

Nursing Services

Staying on top of health at home takes more than daily care. Sometimes what a person needs is a trained nurse who comes by regularly to check in, review medications, monitor vital signs and make sure everything is going in the right direction.

Healthline In-Home Care provides authorized in-home nursing services in St. Louis and across Missouri for clients who need that extra layer of health oversight at home.

Through Missouri Medicaid our licensed nurses conduct authorized in-home visits for clients who need regular health monitoring as part of their overall care plan. These visits are provided by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and are authorized by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services in conjunction with other in-home services.

What Nurse Visits Include

During each visit the nurse checks the client's overall health status including blood pressure and other vital signs, reviews and organizes medications, assesses any changes in condition and communicates with the care team as needed. The goal is to catch problems early and keep the person as healthy and stable as possible at home.

Who Qualifies

Authorized Nurse Visits are available through Missouri Medicaid for clients who are already receiving in-home services and have an assessed need for regular health monitoring. Eligibility is determined by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as part of the overall care plan authorization.
