FAQs
Have questions about In-Home Care in Missouri? Here are the answers families ask us most.
Who qualifies for In-Home Care services in Missouri?
To receive In-Home Care through Missouri Medicaid your loved one needs to have active MO HealthNet coverage. Functional eligibility is determined by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services based on the individual's health needs and daily living assessment.
What does an in-home caregiver do?
A caregiver assists with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing and grooming, meal preparation, mobility and transfers, medication reminders, laundry, light housekeeping and companionship. The specific tasks are based on the client's authorized care plan.
How do I get started if we don't have Medicaid yet?
We guide families through the process step by step from the very first call. If your loved one does not yet have active Medicaid we can point you in the right direction and help make the process as smooth as possible.
